In time your skin loses its
full, firm youthful appearance - a result of the natural ageing
process. Your skin becomes thinner and can sag, causing wrinkles
and deep lines to appear. Fat tissue which maintains the fullness
of your face is also lost, causing your face to look thin and
narrow and making you look older than you are. Sculptra can help
by smoothing deep lines and wrinkles and also by returning lost
volume to give you a natural looking fuller face.

What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable treatment that works
by stimulating the build up of the body's own collagen to get
rid of lines and wrinkles. Sculptra's volumising effect also restores
lost facial volume, resulting in a fuller younger-looking face.
The overall effect is a youthful appearance with gradual, natural
looking results.
Suitable areas for Sculptra
Sculptra is suitable for a number of areas on
your face:-
" Deep folds between the nose and the mouth
(nasolabial folds)
" Folds around the corners of the mouth (marionette lines)
" Sunken cheeks
" Wrinkling in the cheeks or chin
" Deep scars
Why Sculptra?
Sculptra is a discrete approach which allows a
gradual natural effect to occur. Usually 2 or 3 treatments are
required and natural looking effects should become noticeable
after approximately six weeks.
Clinical studies have shown that the results of Sculptra can last
for more than 3 years, significantly longer than other treatments
It is well tolerated with over 17,000 treatments in the UK since
2005. The main ingredient of Sculptra has been used in medicine
for over 10 years and is biocompatible, biodegradable and well
tolerated.
No allergy testing is required before treatment

Visible bumps, sometimes associated with redness or colour change
to the treated area have also been reported.
